EyeGlass Collection

At the Hudson Lions Club, we’re committed to helping others see clearly. Our Eyeglass Collection project gathers gently used prescription glasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses to distribute to individuals who can’t afford vision care.

Why It Matters

• Correcting vision can dramatically improve quality of life — helping with education, employment, safety, and independence.

• Reusing eyeglasses helps reduce waste and supports global sustainability efforts.

How to Donate

Bring your eyeglasses (in good condition) to any of these Hudson drop-off sites:

• Alvirne High School

• Hudson Senior Center

• Karascene Home Decor & Gifts

• Planet Aid Drop (Mission Pointe)

• Rogers Memorial Library

• Sam’s Club Optical

• St. Kathryn’s Church

• Hudson Town Hall

• Veterans Hall

What Happens Next

Once donated, our volunteers clean, sort, and package the glasses. Many are then sent to a Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center, where they are prepared and distributed to communities in need around the world.
